Vibration & Modal Analysis

Vibration Resonance Analysis of a Rotary Torsion Rod Assembly

Conducted a comprehensive resonance study for a drilling tool drivetrain assembly, combining experimental hammer testing and excitation testing with a calibrated modal analysis finite element model. Developed a Campbell diagram to identify critical motor velocities and evaluated the influence of stabilizer/formation contact on modal behavior. The analysis confirmed safe operation under primary rotor excitation while identifying potential resonance risks from secondary exciters.

Our Name · Bridging Algorithms to Reality

The Story Behind the Name

"Every finite element simulation, every digital twin, every predictive model is, at its core, an algorithm."

The name Gorismi traces back to Al-Khwarizmi, the 9th-century Persian mathematician whose work gave the world the term "algorithm." He also contributed to astronomy, trigonometry, and geography, compiling astronomical tables and helping produce one of the earliest maps to use a coordinate system.

It's a fitting root. Gorismi Technologies is built around that same algorithmic thinking — turning physical systems into models, simulations, and digital twins that predict how equipment will behave before it's ever built or deployed.

9th Century

Al-Khwarizmi

Formalized algebra and the step-by-step problem-solving method that became known — after him — as the algorithm.

Today

Gorismi

Applies that same systematic, first-principles reasoning to interdisciplinary product development, digital twins, and rapid prototyping.
